Pattern Princess
Evie Hinojosa (b. 1998 in LaPlace, LA) is an artist and middle school art educator living and working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2021, she graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and the College of Liberal Arts Academic Excellence Award.
Since graduating, she’s exhibited in an online exhibition with RIVRE Gallerie, been published by The Quatrain, and participated in a local arts festival in Baton Rouge called the Ogden Park Prowl.
Her work explores patterns and fragmentation, experimenting with blending fine art media with traditional crafts and their motifs.
