Pattern Princess

Evie Hinojosa (b. 1998 in LaPlace, LA) is an artist and middle school art educator living and working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2021, she graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and the College of Liberal Arts Academic Excellence Award.

Since graduating, she’s exhibited in an online exhibition with RIVRE Gallerie, been published by The Quatrain, and has participated in local art events in Baton Rouge such as the Ogden Park Prowl and White Light Night.

Her work explores patterns and fragmentation, experimenting with blending fine art media with traditional crafts and their motifs.
